WHAT IS NEURO JUSTICE ?

A Necessary Correction to Modern Justice

Neurological injury does not end with survival. It reshapes cognition, behaviour, personality, independence, family roles, and economic life.
Yet most justice systems still measure disability through

• static percentages
• visible impairments
• outdated certificates

Neuro Justice introduces a foundational shift:
Justice must protect functionality — the ability to live, think, act, decide, work, and belong. Neuro Justice is not anti-law, anti-medicine, or anti-technology. It is pro-truth, pro-function, and pro-human dignity.

Why Three Volumes Were Inevitable ?

VOLUME 1 — BRAIN IN THE DOCK
VOLUME 1 — BRAIN IN THE DOCK

Understanding Brain Circuits,
Consciousness & Behaviour

Volume 1 brings the invisible injuries of the brain into the courtroom. It addresses:
• executive dysfunction
• memory failure
• impaired judgment
• behavioural dysregulation
• emotional instability
• fatigue and attentional collapse
These are the disabilities that destroy independence — yet rarely appear on scans. This volume teaches courts, clinicians, and insurers to distinguish:
“Looks normal” from “functions normally.”

VOLUME 2 — TRAUMA, TOXINS & THINKING

VOLUME 3 — THE JUSTICE OF FUNCTION
VOLUME 3 — THE JUSTICE OF FUNCTION

Neuropsychology,
Neurobehavior & Disability Science

Volume 3 answers the judiciary’s long-standing demand:
“Compensation must reflect functional disability
not medical impairment.”

It introduces:
• Functional Independence Levels (FIL)
• PEOP & ICF alignment
• TAPS participation logic
• CAREPa–Re clinical foundation
• Functional vs structural disability
• Neuropsychology in courtrooms
This is where science becomes compensation logic.

THE NEURO JUSTICE MOVEMENT

Why a Movement Was Unavoidable
Books can educate.
Frameworks can standardize.
But justice systems only change through movements. Neuro Justice became a movement because:

• verdicts close files, not lives
• families carry disability long after courts move on
• rehabilitation outcomes are never audited
• justice is declared, not experienced

COURTROOM → COMMUNITY (C2C)

COURTROOM → COMMUNITY (C2C)

C2C is Neuro Justice’s most radical contribution. It asks a question no system asks today:
What happened after the verdict?
• rehabilitation utilisation
• functional improvement
• family burden
• societal reintegration
• quality of life
Justice is no longer a moment. It becomes a measurable journey.

AI, JUDICIARY & THE FUTURE

AI, JUDICIARY & THE FUTURE

Neuro Justice does not worship AI.It warns:
AI is useless if inputs are wrong. Only when neuroscience, rehabilitation, and law speak the same language can AI:
• reduce pendency
• standardize outcomes
• protect cognitively impaired individuals
• prevent compensation injustice

VIKSIT BHARAT 2047

IN VIKSIT BHARAT 2047

Neurological disability silently destroys: productivity, families, GDP, demographic dividend
Neuro Justice positions India to lead the world by offering:
• a closed-loop justice system
• functional dignity as policy
• ethical AI governance
• culturally aligned disability science
This is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam applied to justice.
